Duties
Primarily teach elementary grades in a combined classroom (due to small enrollment numbers) with additional teaching opportunities for various subjects with other grade levels.
At Zion the teaching staff is expected to:
- Communicate classroom news to parents on a regular basis
- Arrange field trips and speakers
- Plan the curriculum and make weekly lesson plans
- Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
- Attend required school activities
- Attend worship services regularly at the church of your membership.
Zion is looking for a candidate that can:

- Build relationships – student-student, student-adult, student-Jesus
- Teach the curriculum with creativity and innovation using curriculum guidelines, textbooks, supplementary materials and available technology
- Observe and maintain student records
