Duties
Basic duties include teaching two sections of English / Language Arts and two sections of Social Studies to eighth grade students. Our ELA blocks are ninety minutes and our Social Studies blocks are thirty minutes. We have two sections at each grade level so the candidate will teach ELA and Social Studies twice per day to each homeroom section.
Qualifications
Appropriate certification required.
Salary/Benefits
Per negotiated contract and experience. Contract is located on our school website at www.monroe70.org
Additional Notes
Monroe is an elementary school district that houses approximately 280 students in grades PreK-8. We are located just outside Peoria, Illinois and our district is next to the Peoria Inernational Airport just off interstate 474. Historically, Monroe has a good reputation for strong academics, upgraded and well maintained facilities, and a long standing tradition of success.
