Duties
The RBES Principal serves as the instructional and operational leader of the school and reports directly to the Superintendent. This role is responsible for creating a positive learning culture, ensuring high academic standards, managing staff and resources, and promoting the overall well-being of students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to promote student achievement and a positive school climate.
- Oversee daily school operations, including curriculum implementation, scheduling, budgeting, and facility management.
- Supervise, evaluate, and support teachers and support staff to foster professional growth and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and federal laws (e.g., safety protocols, special education, Title programs).
- Lead data-driven decision-making to improve instruction and student outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders through effective communication and engagement.
- Manage student discipline, safety plans, and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate professional development and allocate resources to support teaching and learning
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: •Former Type 75 or Professional Education Licensure (PEL) with a General Administrative Endorsement for Grades K-12
