Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, student supervision, assistance with classroom organization, small group instruction, 1:1 instruction, facilitation of virtual therapy sessions, and fostering student independence.

Qualifications

Must hold (or be eligible for) an Illinois State Board of Education Paraprofessional License.

Salary/Benefits

Salary is dependent upon education and years of experience are given.  Candidates will be placed on the Non-Certified Salary Start Scale of KASECA's Collective Bargaining Agreement.  Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance options; life insurance at no cost to employee; sick/personal/bereavement days per CBA; tuition reimbursement; mileage reimbursement, when applicable; reimbursement for professional development opportunities; and 403b options.

Additional Notes

KASEC is seeking paraprofessionals for all three of its programs:  Alternative Day Program located in St. Anne; Communications Program located in Bourbonnais, and Transition Program located in St. Anne.
