Duties
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment providing responsive instructional support to assigned student(s).
- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, parents, and administration
- Assist student(s) with classroom activities under the direction of a certified teacher
- Assist with instructional modifications recommended by the planning team.
- Assist with reading and math interventions
- Participate in appropriate staff development programs
- Assist teachers in duties related to the supervision of students throughout the school day.
- Assist staff with regular communication with ELL student(s)
Qualifications
Highly qualified as a paraprofessional in the state of Illinois is recommended. The district is willing to assist individuals in obtaining a paraprofessional license if they do not currently hold one.
Salary/Benefits
$14 per hour
Insurance provided is set by the faculty's CBA.
