Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator License
• School Social Worker endorsement
• Related Master's Degree or better from an accredited college or university
• Must be able to perform all of the duties and responsibilities of the position
• Ability to collaborate with others on a team to problem solve and work through tasks
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Must be physically able to provide Crisis Prevention Intervention Strategies

We are excited to add this new position! Our Cooperative will be expanding programming opportunities for our member districts next school year. As a result of this expansion, we are adding another full-time Social Worker to our team. Our programming provides you the opportunity to work with student's with a higher level of need, collaborate with high-functioning teams, and the opportunity to grow professionally. Our program classrooms are located in different buildings; travel is necessary throughout the day. This position manages crises; being able to manage stressful situations is necessary.
