Duties
United West Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, visionary, and compassionate educational leader to serve as the Elementary Principal (PK–3). The Principal will serve as the chief instructional leader and administrator for the early childhood and primary grade levels, fostering a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of early childhood pedagogy, foundational literacy and numeracy development, positive behavior support systems, and collaborative school leadership.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Certification: Valid State Administrative License/Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of successful teaching experience in an early childhood or elementary setting (PK–3 preferred).
Key Skills: Strong knowledge of early childhood development, structured literacy instruction, MTSS frameworks, excellent written/verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
