Qualifications
Qualifications: All applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Converted Christian believers in Jesus Christ who live a life devoted to following God’s Word
- Must accept without reservation the statement of faith of South Side Christian Academy
- Be a member/regular attendee of a Christian church
- Have a heart for ministry and a godly love of children
- Certified to teach elementary grades by the state of Illinois
- Be able to perform each essential task of managing, establishing, organizing, and instructing a classroom that provides a quality learning environment for students
- Be willing to listen and respond to counsel
- An attitude of dedication, commitment, and flexibility
Salary/Benefits
Starting salary for first year teacher with no experience is $40,000--graduated pay school for teachers with more years of experience. Dental and vision benefits, 403b plan, and yearly retirement and Christmas bonuses.
