Duties
The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher provides district-wide specialized instruction and support to children ages 3-5 with disabilities enrolled in the blended Pre-school for All program. The teacher collaborates with the Preschool for All General Education Teacher to plan and implement inclusive, developmentally appropriate instruction, support individual student needs and promote the academic, social emotional, communication, and functional development of all learners. The teacher serves as the case manager for assigned students, develops and writes Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitors student progress toward goals, and ensures compliance with special education requirements. The position collaborates with families, related service providers, and district staff to ensure effective service delivery and support student success.
