Duties
This is a full-time special education teacher position at the middle school, starting at the beginning of the 2027 - 2028 school year.
The teacher will be the 6th-8th grades case manager and will support students in all subject areas. The teacher will progress-monitor student academic growth, write IEPs, and host meetings. The teacher must be able to work with students who have emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulties. The teacher will be expected to work collaboratively with staff and parents. They should be flexible and creative to problem-solve. The teacher may be asked to co-teach, push in to classrooms, or teach self-contained students.
Qualifications
Appropriate licensure for special education.
Salary/Benefits
As per the 2027 - 2028 salary schedule.
