Middle School Teacher - Math or ELA

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Delivery: Plan and deliver rigorous, differentiated instruction in Middle School Math or ELA aligned with Illinois Learning Standards to students in grades 6–8.
Student Centered Assessment: Monitor and evaluate academic progress using varied assessment strategies, utilizing data to inform instruction and nurture student confidence.
Learning Environment: Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom culture that encourages active participation, respect, and academic responsibility.
Collaborative Practice: Work alongside junior high colleagues, special education staff, and school leadership to create cohesive learning plans and ensure readiness for high school transitions.
Stakeholder Communication: Build constructive relationships with parents and guardians through proactive communication regarding academic and social-emotional growth.

Valid Professional Educator License.
Middle School Math or ELA Endorsement (Grades 6-8)
Must love kids (especially the quirky, energetic, and wonderful middle school variety).
Ability to balance academic rigor with the unique social-emotional needs of junior high students.
