Putnam County CUSD #535 has an opening for a chemistry and physics in our high school. We are looking for a candidate who will create a positive learning environment that promotes the intellectual, personal, and social development of all students. Ultimately, they will help inspire children to achieve important learning milestones. Come and join our team!
Qualifications
Any applicant must have or be able to obtain a teaching certificate and meet the requirements set forth by ESSA. They also need to complete and pass a background check prior to employment. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.
Salary/Benefits
Anticipated 2027-2028 Starting Salary:
$46,248.00 - BA+0 Step 0 (without 9% TRS)
Benefits:
Up to a $2,000 hiring bonus (paid over two years)
9% board paid TRS retirement benefit

$50,000 board paid life insurance
Board Paid Health Insurance Premium:
90% Employee Only, 70% Employee/Spouse, 70% Employee/Children, 50% Family
