Duties
The Director of Special Education provides districtwide leadership for the development,
implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and services for students with
disabilities. The Director ensures high-quality, legally compliant services while leading
systems that support inclusive practices, effective instruction, and student success. As a
member of the District leadership team, the Director works collaboratively with
administrators, staff, families, and community partners to strengthen the continuum of
services and advance District priorities.
