Duties
The Behavior Intervention Specialist will provide support to students, educational teams and families of students with significant behavioral deficits associated with Autism, Emotional Disorders, Health Impairments and other disabilities that may impede the student's ability to function in the school setting.
Qualifications
Hold a registered, valid Illinois LBS1/PEL or be willing to obtain
BCBA or Behavior Intervention Specialist preferred
Experience working with students with autism, social emotional disabilities, and other related disabilities that may required behavior management, language enrichment, intensive sensory supports, or a highly structured classroom.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for consultation with team members
