Duties

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach standards-aligned Health and PE lessons using structured, active learning strategies to support diverse student needs.

• Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance in coursework and academic growth through objective standards and timely feedback.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a structured, well-supervised learning environment during all classroom activities.

• Professional Standards: Adhere to district policies, maintain accurate academic records, and uphold ethical and legal standards of education.

Qualifications

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with PE and Health Endorsement.

Salary/Benefits

Salary and Benefits: Base pay for 2026 - 2027 is $44,135. TRS is paid by district. Salary schedule can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Insurance: Employee health insurance is provided by the district.
