Jr./Sr. High School Boy’s PE/Health Teacher, with Potential for Jr. High Athletic Director

Duties

Fisher Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Boys Physical Education teacher for grades 7–12. This position also offers the opportunity to serve as the Jr. High Athletic Director for interested candidates.

 

PE/Health Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging physical education and health lessons aligned with state standards and district goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and academic progress.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and program expectations.
  • Supervise boys locker room

 

Jr. High Athletic Director responsibilities include:

  • The Athletic Director provides leadership, supervision, scheduling, coordination, and administration of the Jr. High athletic programs.

Qualifications

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Physical Education and Health Endorsement

Salary/Benefits

  • Salary is regionally competitive and determined by the BOE approved teachers' contract, with additional Jr. High Athletic Director stipends
