Duties

Teach junior high science, develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning, communicate with parents, collaborate with staff, maintain a positive classroom environment, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Science endorsement required.
• Knowledge of and ability to develop and implement a junior high science curriculum.
• Successful experience teaching junior high/middle school students preferred.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with junior high students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a school team.

Salary/Benefits

Per district salary schedule; salary based on education and experience. Benefits per district policies and applicable collective bargaining agreement.
