Duties
Clara Peterson Elementary School is seeking a collaborative, and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. Clara Peterson serves students in grades PreK–5. The Special Education Teacher will design, implement, and monitor specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role works closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to foster an inclusive, supportive environment
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and Benefits: Base pay for 2026 - 2027 is $44,135. TRS is paid by district. Salary schedule can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Insurance: Employee health insurance is provided by the district.
