Duties
A Vision Itinerant travels between schools to support students with visual impairments. They evaluate needs, adapt classroom materials, and teach specialized skills like Braille and assistive technology to ensure full access to the curriculum.
Qualifications
Appropriate ISBE Professional Educator License with certification for students with visual impairment.
Salary/Benefits
Salary starts at $44,100 and up, with health insurance, free dental and vision, board-paid TRS, life insurance, and paid sick and personal days.
