BUS DRIVERS
For the 2026-27 School Year
Full-Time (4-Hr Routes) and Part-Time (2-Hr Mid-Day Routes)
Deadline to Apply: July 24, 2026
Requirements:
- Qualified for Commercial Driver’s License and IL School Bus Drivers Permit
- Pass Illinois State Police background check
- Safe Driving Record as per the IL State Board of Education
- Cautious, safe driver
- Can relate to and control bus students
- Knowledge of Effingham School District #40 road system
- Follows instructions well
- Punctual and dependable
Training for drivers will be available
