Duties

Montmorency CCSD #145 is seeking a dedicated and qualified 6-8 Middle School Math Teacher to serve students at Montmorency School.

The 6-8 Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated instruction aligned to Illinois Learning Standards for Mathematics, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment that builds students' mathematical confidence.

The individual will collaborate closely with fellow junior high teachers, special education staff, and building personnel to support student learning, facilitate smooth transitions to high school, and foster overall development.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Educator License.
• Middle School Math Endorsement (Grades 6-8)
• Must love kids (especially the quirky, energetic, and wonderful middle school variety).
• Strong understanding of middle school math curriculum and concepts (from foundational fractions to early algebra).
• Ability to balance academic rigor with the unique social-emotional needs of junior high students.
