Qualifications
Putnam County CUSD #535 has an immediate opening for a ELA teacher in our Jr. high building for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a candidate who will create a positive learning environment that promotes the intellectual, personal, and social development of all students. Ultimately, they will help inspire children to achieve important learning milestones. Come and join our team!
Any applicant must have or be able to obtain a teaching certificate and meet the requirements set forth by ESSA. They also need to complete and pass a background check prior to employment. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.

Anticipated Starting Salary:
$44,469.00 - BA+0 Step 0
Benefits:
$2,000 hiring bonus (paid over two years)
