Duties
Lincoln Trail Elementary School is accepting applications for a 4th Grade Teacher position beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering standards-based instruction aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards and supporting the academic and social-emotional development of elementary students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in all core subject areas.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and achievement.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all learners.
- Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and support staff to support student success and enhance learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Implement district curriculum and instructional initiatives.
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-related activities.
