Duties
The Substitute Coordinator leads the district’s substitute program end-to-end—owning workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, daily placement, training, and data/reporting for substitute teachers and other guest staff. The role serves as CCSD 21’s expert for the absence & substitute management system (e.g., Frontline/AESOP), partners closely with school leaders and HR, and ensures instructional continuity by filling vacancies quickly with qualified, well-supported substitutes. This position also has responsibility for the efficient onboarding and tracking of student-teacher placements and for specific staff leave documentation.
Salary/Benefits
Position salary range is $59,522 - $63,056, accompanied by a competitive benefits package.
