Duties
Havana High School, in Section 12, is looking for a second Agriculture Teacher and Co-FFA advisor for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
This program boasts a variety of agricultural courses, an active FFA chapter, and very supportive FFA Alumni, Administration and Community. Current facilities include agriculture classrooms, two large shops and an Alumni owned test plot adjacent to the school The program also has instructional technology and the school is one-to-one with Chromebooks. Courses taught will be based on the strengths and certifications of the individual.
Qualifications
Current and valid professional educator License (PEL) for Agriculture Education or Career and Technician Education License.
Salary/Benefits
District #126 offers a solid benefits package, including 100% district paid premiums for single medical coverage. Final salary will be determined per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
