Speech-Language Pathologist

Duties

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Develop and implement procedurally correct individualized education plans to address the specific needs of students with communication disorders.
  • Attend IEP meetings as the communication expert on the team. 
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, working individually or in small groups using a push-in model as appropriate. 
  • Complete formal evaluations of students as determined by the IEP team meeting. 
  • Establish goals for the therapy program appropriate to the setting and the students served.
  • Plan therapy to meet the needs of the students and to support them within the broader education program.
  • Collaborate effectively with other specialists, teachers, staff and administration. 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Current PEL and  SLP Licensure or a temporary license through IDFPR. ASHA

Certification CCC-SLP preferred.

Salary/Benefits

SALARY:  Starting at $53,132. Will consider years of experience. See  Collective Bargaining Agreement

SCHEDULE:  4-5 days a week/7.5 Hours a day
