Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive physical education curricula that align with state standards and school goals.
- Assess student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and progress in physical education classes.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and program initiatives.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical education and health.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education for middle school level. PEL
- Strong knowledge of physical fitness, health, and wellness concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on educational trends.
Salary/Benefits
Full Time Staff Only: Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance paid by District for employee only. Spouse/Child at a cost.
