Speech Language Pathologist APPLY ONLINE

Duties

  • Provide school-based speech-language services as the placed SLP for Urbana District 116, through Ashby Therapy Solutions. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, and eligibility determination; developing and implementing IEP goals; delivering individual and group therapy; collaborating with teachers, families, and the IEP team; and maintaining timely documentation and Medicaid billing. You carry the caseload — our clinical team handles the support around it, so paperwork and isolation don't follow you home.

Qualifications

  • ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement, or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
  • Current IDFPR licensure or temporary licensure
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a school team setting

Salary/Benefits

Salary/Benefits

Competitive salary based on experience. Beyond pay, Ashby Therapy Solutions invests in the things that actually keep clinicians supported and in the profession:

  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • ASHA, ISHA, and IDFPR professional dues paid
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k)

And the support that doesn't show up on a benefits list: a dedicated clinical mentor you actually talk to, Medicaid and IEP paperwork support, a shared resource library with peer-reviewed evaluation templates, and a local, clinician-owned company whose owner knows your name and answers the phone.

Additional Notes

Ashby Therapy Solutions is an Illinois-based, clinician-owned company placing speech-language pathologists and related service providers in school districts across central and east-central Illinois. Unlike national staffing firms, we keep our clinicians supported and connected - which is why they stay. This is a single-district placement for the 2026–27 school year. Start date is August 10, 2026, beginning with our team orientation.
