Duties

Our intermediate school is looking for a passionate and dedicated 5th grade teacher to join our team of educators in a dynamic and growing school district beginning the 2026-2027 school year. Teaching responsibilities include elementary classroom instruction, knowledge of Illinois Common Core State Standards, ability to use differentiated instruction with a balanced literacy program, and a valued understanding for collaboration on a PLC team. 

Qualifications

Valid Illinois teaching certification required: Professional Educator License (PEL) for Elementary or Early Childhood.

Salary/Benefits

Salary and employee benefits are based upon years of experience and the current negotiated collective bargaining agreement. Pay scale and CEA contract can be found on our website.  Link to CEA Contract
