Duties
Primary duties include teaching various levels of 6th-8th-grade math. This person would work in collaboration with one of our current middle school math teachers to assess proper math groupings, student growth, and help lead the math department. Duties also include serving as one of our two 8th-grade homeroom teachers and the accompanying Christian Religion class.
Qualifications
At a minimum, hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and a valid Illinois Professional License with an endorsement in math or related experience, Christian faith, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary/Benefits
Competitive salary based on education and experience levels with full health insurance, including vision and dental as well as retirement and 403b contribution. Position also includes paid sick days, paid personal time off, and paid bereavement leave.
Additional Notes
Trinity Lutheran School is a PS-8th grade building of about 370 students. There are two classrooms at each grade level with specials and intervention teachers to support our students' growth.
