High School Instructional Coach

Conducts coaching cycles with staff that include co-planning, co-teaching, modeling, teacher reflection, and goal setting.
Engages in a coaching cycle with each new staff member to ensure pedagogy and instruction are aligned to best practices, IL state standards, & District 709 curriculum.
Provides student-centered instructional coaching integrating content knowledge, best practices, and responsiveness to student needs.
Facilitates and develops professional development sessions with teachers & staff to increase and refine their application of various instructional strategies, which includes planning and facilitating professional development sessions monthly on Early Release Wednesdays, after school, and asynchronous PD offerings.
Demonstrates ability to present the critical elements of instruction to support the development of skills.
Collaborates with instructional coaching team to support the instructional practices with an emphasis on the district pillars.
Collaborates with principals/executive director to develop and facilitate needs-specific professional learning related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Shares and models effective use of instructional technology resources.
Coordinates with the executive director and teachers to evaluate curricular resources.
Provides other instructional duties as assigned by the building principal or executive director.

Required: Applicant must hold a valid PEL

SALARY: $48,851-87,191 depending on experience and education level
