Duties
The Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Counselor (Interventionist) will play an essential role in implementing SEL strategies to ensure a positive school climate that supports students’ social and emotional needs. As a counselor/interventionist, you will provide direct support to school leaders, teachers, and staff on social-emotional learning programming, including standards, curriculum, assessment, and professional development. You will work to ensure that SEL is integrated into instruction and daily practices aligned with the district’s Multi-level System of Supports framework.
Qualifications
Social Emotional Interventionist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must hold PEL or Sub Certificate
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- Initial health examination
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
Salary/Benefits
Base salary $51,495.00
Benefits: 3 personal days, 14 sick days, Optional Health, Dental and Vision insurance.
