Duties

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of Illinois required
• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement in the state of Illinois required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. 
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age 

Salary/Benefits

Wages are based on an hourly rate as a W-2 employee. Up to $75/hr. (based on experience and credentials).

Additional Notes

Multiple vacancies across K-22 age groups and various classroom environments.. Caseload details to follow and will not exceed state mandated levels of 60 students per caseload. Experience and preference are taken into consideration when determining caseload. Positions are serving the South Holland, IL area
