Duties
To serve as the district’s strategic leader in cultivating a holistic culture of wellbeing by bridging the gap between physical health, social-emotional resilience, and academic success. The Coordinator of Wellness and K-12 Health Planning will integrate innovative technology and data-driven insights with a synchronized K–12 curriculum to ensure consistent student development. By leading quarterly professional development, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration among mental health professionals, and managing peer mentorship and trauma-informed initiatives, the Coordinator aims to create a safe, supportive environment. Ultimately, this role seeks to empower both students and staff with the tools for lifelong wellness while building strong community partnerships that celebrate and sustain district-wide health achievements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Physical Education, Public Health, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching or leadership experience in K–12 wellness, athletics, or health administration preferred. Proficiency in educational technology and data analytics; exceptional public speaking and community relations skills; proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Salary/Benefits
Benefits: Based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Insurance: Employee health insurance is provided by the district.
Salary will be commensurate with Collective Bargaining Agreement and experience in education or other related field.
Additional Notes
This position will be part of the Unit Office.
