Paraprofessional Position Available

Lostant School is seeking an energetic, flexible, and student-centered Paraprofessional to join our small rural K–8 school team. This unique position offers a variety of responsibilities throughout the school day—no two days are ever the same, and you will never be bored!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a team environment, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support students and staff.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting students in both general education and special education classrooms

• Supporting teachers with instructional and classroom needs

• Running and maintaining the school library

• Filling in as needed in the kitchen/cafeteria

• Assisting with or covering student transportation/van driving duties

• Supervising students and helping maintain a positive school environment

• Providing additional support during school events and daily operations

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional license or ability to obtain required certification

• Flexible, dependable, and willing to take on multiple roles

• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

• CDL license preferred, or willingness to obtain one for transportation duties
