• Familiarity with STEM education principles, including project-based and inquirybased learning
• Ability to design and implement engaging, standards-based curriculum
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across grade levels and subject areas
• Passion for inspiring students to explore, create, and think critically
The candidate should be prepared to be in compliance with Diocesan Child Protection
Procedures. Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background
check.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, student-centered, and dedicated to helping each child
reach their full potential—academically, socially, and spiritually.
Qualifications
• Current Illinois teaching license preferred (not required)
• Experience teaching Math at the middle school level (grades 4–8)
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to build a positive learning
environment
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
Salary/Benefits
Teachers will be placed on the Diocesan Teacher Salary Scale of $29,000-$48,000
according to years of experience and education.
