Duties
St. Joseph-Ogden High School is seeking a dynamic high school guidance counselor willing to serve the St. Joseph-Ogden school community in the multiple roles of guidance counseling. Duties would include managing and coordinating student academic and career services, providing and/or coordinating student counseling services, and assisting the principal in maintaining up to date curriculum opportunities for all students including assistance with creating a yearly master schedule.
Qualifications
A valid Illinois Educator License with a Guidance Counselor Endorsement for grades 9-12. Candidates must excel in all forms of communication, organization, and collaborative relationship skills.
Salary/Benefits
Salary will range from $46,244 to $111,574 based on years of experience and education. This is a 10-month permanent position.
Up to 9.89% of the employee TRS Contribution paid by the School District.
100% of the premium for individual Health, Dental, and Vision insurance paid by the School District.
100% of the premium for a $20,000 individual Life Insurance policy paid by the School District.
Annual sick days range from 12 to 18 days based on years’ experience within the School District.
Annual personal days range from 2 to 3 days based on years’ experience within the School District.
