Duties
Peru Elementary School District 124 has a full-time mathematics teaching position available at Parkside Middle School. The position will begin on Tuesday, August 12, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality core instruction in the area of mathematics at the eighth grade level in addition to one section of math intervention. In addition, this schedule contains a daily team planning period for collaboration. The successful candidate must also be able to effectively differentiate to meet the needs of a heterogeneous classroom, have an interest in co-teaching, and collaborate well with other teachers.
Qualifications
Applicants must have the proper Illinois Professional Educator's Licensure and qualifications for teaching mathematics at the middle school level.
Salary/Benefits
The salary and benefit package is very competitive and based on the district's collectively bargained contract agreement.
