Coordinator- Athletics and Activities-2015

Duties

The Coordinator - Athletics and Activities is responsible for the leadership, organization, and supervision of all extracurricular programs across our K-8 district. We are looking for a dynamic leader who believes that student engagement outside the classroom is vital to academic success and social-emotional growth. This role ensures that every student has access to safe, inclusive, and enriching opportunities in sports, clubs, and the arts.

Qualifications

  • Valid and current Illinois Professional Educator License with a general administrative endorsement or principal endorsement. 

  • Minimum of three years' experience in school or athletic administration preferred.  

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Must be detail oriented, flexible, and able to work independently. 

  • Ability to react well under pressure, handle and balance multiple demands at one time, work with frequent interruptions, and perform duties and tasks at expected levels of professionalism.

  • Proven track record of managing budgets and coordinating complex schedules. 

  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. 

  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace applications. 

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Salary/Benefits

  • Salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience. 

  • Board of Education paid TRS.

Additional Notes

  • 11-month position with a contract period of August 3 through June 30. 

  • Work Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
