Duties
- Lead district-wide safety and security operations across all schools and facilities
- Serve as the primary liaison with law enforcement and emergency response agencies
- Oversee emergency preparedness, crisis response, and threat assessment planning
- Supervise School Safety Officers, Safety Monitors, and coordinate with School Resource Officers
- Support building administrators with investigations, student discipline, and security concerns
- Oversee physical security systems, including cameras, access control, and visitor management
- Coordinate staff safety training, drills, and emergency procedures
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation
- Provide visible leadership presence at school events and district activities
This position is well suited for an experienced or retiring law enforcement professional who wants to continue serving the community while helping support safe, welcoming schools.
Salary/Benefits
Starting Pay Rate: $76,000-96,000, commensurate with experience.
