Duties

• Lead the implementation of truancy support services for school districts within ROE 35.
• Oversee and manage truancy caseworkers and the support they provide school districts. 
• Director of the student mentor program.  Lead and manage the implementation of student mentor programming for participating school districts. 
• Evaluate and manage the effectiveness of the student mentor program.
• Responsible for the hiring, retention, dismissal, and evaluation of truancy and student mentor staff.
• Human resources lead.  Will assist in the creation of staff contracts and management of benefit time.  
• Will assist in the management of grants related to student services, such as ALOP, RSSP, TAEOP, after school programs, and the McKinney-Vento Homeless grant.
• Assist schools, students, and their families in identifying and accessing resources that support student success.
• Assist and participate in ROE sponsored events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Principal or Administrative Endorsement.
• 5+ years of administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to successfully lead people and programs.

Salary/Benefits

• 12-month position
• Hiring Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000.
• Salary offered to be commensurate with education and experience.
