Qualifications
- Knowledge of Google Workspace/G-Suite
- At least one year of experience with:
- Supporting Windows laptops, Macbooks, Chromebooks, and iPads;
- Installing and troubleshooting projectors, document cameras, copiers, and printers;
- Supporting audio-video equipment, displays, digital signage, and video conferencing;
- Working with cloud-based software as a service;
- Project-related experience, such as the large-scale rollout of devices;
- Technical specifications for standardized tests;
- Troubleshooting wireless and wired issues;
- Supporting VoIP phones or SIP phones;
- Inventory management systems;
- Ticket systems.
- The ability to:
- Read, write, and comprehend technical documentation;
- Set up, operate, maintain, and repair computers, laptops, Chromebooks, and other devices.
- Prioritize issues based on impact on the school district;
- Perform hardware and software upgrades/configurations on computers and similar devices.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Technician supports and repairs the District's various technologies. The position requires a blend of excellent customer service skills, high technical skills, and the desire to learn new technologies. The IT Technician will report to the Director of Information Systems and Network Security and works closely with the Lead Technician.
