Duties
Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and care of all district grounds and outdoor facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that all school properties are safe, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing to support a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- This position would primarily direct the grounds crew on prioritizing and managing daily tasks.
- Direct the grounds staff in daily tasks and prioritize these tasks based on the needs of the buildings and administrative staff.
- Manage the grounds crew schedule.
- Maintain grounds equipment and outsource when needed.
- Manage the purchase of grounds supplies/materials using the District's financial software.
- Assist the Director of Facilities with completing snow removal, salt application, and other duties as assigned.
- Ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and community.
- Serve in an auxiliary capacity for the Director of Facilities during periods of time where grounds are inaccessible (for example, poor weather conditions) and during the grounds off-season (generally between November 1st and March 1st).
Salary/Benefits
