Duties
The early childhood coordinator will support home visitors and classroom staff. Work to ensure that the program meets the needs of the whole child and supports parents/ guardians in addressing family needs. Will work with staff to improve instructional quality and achieve mastery as early childhood professionals. Support grant development and management for early childhood programs: Prevention Initiative 0-3 and Preschool for All Expansion. 200-day position as required by the Early Childhood Grants.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.
Holds an Illinois Professional Educator License.
Experience as an early childhood educator and experience as a coach or supervisor of educators preferred.
Commitment to supporting at-risk families.
Salary/Benefits
