Duties
Lebanon CUSD #9 is seeking a compassionate and student-focused Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in grades K–12 (or specify grade band as needed). The successful candidate will provide individualized instruction, ensure compliance with special education laws, and foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and independence while supporting the values of the Lebanon Greyhounds community.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement (e.g., LBS1)
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education best practices
Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits determined by the Lebanon CUSD #9 collective bargaining agreement
