Duties
Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient operation of district facilities. The successful candidate will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure school buildings and grounds are well-maintained and conducive to student learning. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
Essential Functions:
- Grounds Management – Maintain and repair school grounds, including mowing, trimming, snow plowing, field lining, and sidewalk clearing across District campuses.
- Preventative Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including semi-annual HVAC filter replacement, maintenance of grounds equipment, flushing of on-demand water heaters, and facility equipment upkeep.
- Minor Repairs – Electrical and plumbing repairs within the scope of District maintenance operations.
- Operational Support– Assist in supervision, evaluation, and training of custodians and maintenance/grounds staff. Assist the Director of Facilities with assigned duties to enhance the department's efficiency and responsiveness.
Salary/Benefits
