Duties
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum
- Provide instruction in core subject areas including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assess student progress regularly using a variety of formal and informal methods
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to enhance student learning
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to support learning goals
- Support school-wide initiatives and participate in school events and activities
- Monitor and support student social-emotional development
- Ensure compliance with all school policies, procedures, and state regulations
