Science Teacher Opening

Greenview Community Unit School District #200 is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Science Teacher to join our team. We are a small, close-knit rural district committed to providing a high-quality education and strong relationships with our students and community.

Qualifications

 Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate science endorsement

• Ability to teach middle school and/or high school science courses

• Knowledge of Illinois Learning Standards for Science (NGSS-aligned)

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to design and implement hands-on, inquiry-based instruction

• Effective communication skills with students, parents, and staff

• Experience using technology to enhance instruction

• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

• Willingness to contribute to the school community, extracurriculars, or coaching (preferred)
