Duties
Deliver instruction in areas such as plant and animal science, agribusiness, and environmental systems while providing hands-on learning experiences. Advise student involvement in the National FFA Organization activities. Manage program resources and stay current with agricultural practices. Maintain safe and effective learning environment.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in Agriculture Education (5-12) or endorsed in Technology Education (5-12). Consideration may also be given to an educator with a Career and Technical Educator License with Stipulations (ELS-CTE) endorsed to teach in one or more career and technical areas.
Salary/Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with district pay scales. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance. Additional stipends may be available for extracurricular responsibilities such as FFA.
