Duties
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides confidential administrative support to the Directors of District Services and Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment. Assists with scheduling, correspondence, record keeping, reporting, and departmental coordination.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Manage calendars, meetings, and communications
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records
- Assist with ISBE reporting and compliance documentation
- Support professional development and district initiatives
- Track deadlines, documents, and follow-up items
- Serve as a point of contact for departmental inquiries
- Assist with Board meeting preparation as assigned
- Monitor and organize grant documentation and state reporting materials
- Handle sensitive personnel and student matters with discretion
- Provide backup assistance to other district administrative offices when assigned
- Support coordination of student disciplinary hearings, alternative education placements, transportation-related documentation and instructional rounds
- Maintain records related to FOIA requests, complaints, and compliance documentation
- Support professional development coordination logistics
- Other duties as assigned by supervisory staff
Salary/Benefits
REPORTS TO: Director of District Services & Director of Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment
WORK YEAR: 12 Months (260 Workdays)
WORK DAY: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
SALARY: $55,000
